What is cosmetic acupuncture?

what to expect
During treatment, your acupuncturist will insert ultra-fine, sterilized needles into different areas of the face, puncturing the skin and creating tiny wounds called positive microtraumas. Your body reacts to these punctures as it would to a wound.
The lymphatic and circulatory systems are triggered and start to increase collagen production and blood flow to the area. As the nutrients and oxygen rush back into your skin cells, your skin becomes nourished from the inside out.
